The Aston Computer Science Society is launching AstonHack, a student Hackathon to form part of the annual Major League Hacking (MLH) league.

What is an MLH Hackathon?

A Hackathon is an event that typically lasts several days, in which a large number of people meet to engage in collaborative computer programming.

Major League Hacking is the official student hackathon league - holding over 150 weekend long hackathons across the US, Canada, Mexico and Europe. MLH's mission is to spread the hacker ethos to every student on the planet; to cultivate communities where aspiring hackers have the opportunity to learn, build, and share their creations with the world.
